The electric balancer “Moon Lifter” is a hanging-style power assist device that neutralizes the weight of a lifted workpiece, allowing it to be handled with minimal effort.
A heavy object lifted by the Moon Lifter moves in response to hand guidance and stops instantly when released. Anyone can perform precise positioning down to the millimeter with minimal effort.
This time, we would like to share the following demonstration video, which shows the precise fitting of a heavy sensor (torque meter) into a hole.
Actual use cases for the positioning application
Screw Position Adjustments for Doors:
Before introducing the Moon Lifter, this task required two operators— one to hold the door in place and the other to tighten the screws—placing significant strain on their lower backs.
After implementation, the Moon Lifter enables precise alignment and direct assembly, allowing the task to be completed effortlessly by a single operator.
For the Tightening of Heavy Bolts:
In bolt-tightening operations, the heavier the bolts, the more difficult it becomes to position and tighten them accurately.
By using the Moon Lifter to support the weight of the bolts, manual lifting is no longer required, allowing the work to be performed effortlessly.
Additionally, because the bolts can now be inserted correctly without tilting, rework due to misalignment is eliminated—significantly reducing working hours.
